- Executive Director – Market Risk Management for Goldman Sachs International for 1 year from September 2004. He was responsible for the financial risk management desk of International Prime Brokerage, including managing a team of seven individuals overseeing hedge fund clients operating in Europe and Asia, across a diverse spectrum of strategies. Evaluated portfolio risk and set appropriate collateral requirements for hedge funds, and developed, implemented, evaluated and monitored a variety of platforms, procedures, models and methodologies as part of the risk management programs and policies for hedge funds.
- 4 years of experience with Morgan Stanley & Co. International, in the Equity Financing Services area, where he oversaw daily operations of the financial risk management desk within International Prime Brokerage. His responsibilities included overseeing and managing financial risk for all of the prime brokerage clients operating in Europe and Asia, and investing across a diverse spectrum of strategies. Constructing and implementing stress testing platforms to evaluate portfolio risk, and developing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring a variety of procedures, models and methodologies as part of the risk management programs and policies of hedge funds.
- Mr. PADUANO holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (USA), and an MSc in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).
- Mr. PADUANO has previously held licenses under the FSA (UK) as an investment advisor since 2002, prior to which he was an SFA (UK) licensed securities representative, and a futures and options representative since 2001. Mr. PADUANO is currently a Type 9 licensed representative under the SFC (HK).
